Problem, solution, prototype

For generations, we have run our own fresh food company on Lake Constance and are deeply rooted in products directly from the region. Of course, we pick and deliver for our customers every day with care and passion. And this is precisely where our idea for RolliCoat® came from.

During his time as a student working in his parents’ company during the holidays, our son experienced first hand the laborious and time-consuming work involved in using stretch film to secure goods on roll containers. The sight of the plastic waste that piled up after each transport increase, as well as the time wasted, sparked in him the desire for a more sustainable and efficient solution. Together as a family, we began to look for alternatives, but none of the existing options met our requirements.

We took the challenge into our own hands.

In 2016, after countless creative hours of development and optimization, the time had come: the RolliCoat® was born. The first prototype was developed in collaboration with a local sewing company. Since 2017, RolliCoat® GmbH has been an independent company based in Baden-Württemberg. Driven by a passion for sustainability and efficiency!

The RolliCoat® is more than just a product, it is a symbol of the entrepreneurial spirit in our family: innovative, sustainable and customer-focused. We are setting new and sustainable standards in the logistics industry and are happy to work with anyone who is open to new ideas.

Growth & Development

RolliCoat® is used daily in many companies, which has led to continuous improvements, including the introduction of a reflective stripe. In addition, the material has been reworked in collaboration with VAUDE, which means that it can now be reused thousands of times. These developments strengthen the position of RolliCoat as the leading sustainable solution for the transportation of goods.
